Pantry moths and clothes moths cause two very different kinds of damage, and the treatment for one won't fix the other — knowing which you've got matters.
Pantry moths arrive in stored dry goods — flour, rice, pet food, grains — and quickly spread to other packages sitting nearby once established. Clothes moths are drawn to natural fibres like wool and silk, particularly items left undisturbed in storage for long periods, which is why an infestation can go unnoticed until real damage has already been done.
For pantry moths, we identify and remove the infested source, then treat cupboards and storage areas to stop the cycle continuing. For clothes moths, treatment targets wardrobes, stored fabrics and carpet edges with product suited to fabric-safe application.
Call 0429 777 008Not all of it, but anything showing signs of larvae or webbing should go, along with a check of nearby packages since infestations spread between stored goods sitting close together. We'll help identify what's actually affected.
Treating the wardrobe and affected items is the first step; storing natural-fibre clothing in sealed containers going forward makes it much harder for a new infestation to establish.
