Ant colonies are drawn to easy food and moisture — a crumb trail on the kitchen floor, a leaking tap outside, or pet food left out overnight is often all it takes to establish a trail into the house. Established gardens and paved areas close to the foundation give colonies a stable place to nest just metres from the back door.
Treatment usually combines targeted baiting — so the colony carries the treatment back to the nest — with a residual barrier around entry points. Spraying visible ants alone rarely fixes the problem long-term, so we focus on the colony itself.
